This is grandfather and grandmother getting married in Germany during war. late they would return back to the United States.

my grandfather was sent over to help with refugees camp. My grandmother was a refugee.

We even have a book where she clearly trying to teach him how to spell her name in German.

It wasn't something special as you can see. no white dress just you best church cloths and basically a small get together.
